MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State University men's basketball team has secured the top seed in the 2016 MIAA Basketball Touranment in Kansas City, Mo., winning the program's third-straight regular season title by five games in 2016. Northwest will now await the winner between Pittsburg State and Lindenwood which will take place on Tuesday, March 1, in Pittsburg, Kan.

The Bearcats will play on Friday, March 4, at 6 p.m. at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. The semifinal game Northwest is slotted for would be on Saturday, March 5, at 8:15 p.m. and the men's championship would be Sunday, March 6, at 3:3 p.m. Live statistics for all games can be found HERE.
