Key Northwest Sequence
- Northwest and Fort Hays played close the entire second set. With the score tied, 19-19, Northwest went on a 6-3 run to close out the set and tie the match at 1-1. Bruder put away back-to-back kills to force a Tiger timeout. Schleppenbach recorded a kill on the next point to make it 22-19. After a Fort Hays kill, Becker came up with a kill and Northwest forced an attacking error to force set point up 24-20. Fort Hays got two points back but Becker put away a kill off an assist from Dannettell to give the Bearcats the set, 25-22.
