- The Bearcats controlled possession for much of the contest, taking 18 shots compared to just seven for Sioux Falls. Northwest also took 10 corner kicks while conceding zero to the Cougars.
- Northwest and Sioux Falls were both offside three times.
- The Cats committed just six fouls while the Cougars were whistled for 12 violations.

Key Moment of the Match- After Northwest won a corner less than two minutes into overtime,
Jessica Spradley sent the ball into the box.
Crystal McElhose took a shot on goal that was saved, but the goalie was unable to retain possession. A Sioux Falls defender attempted to clear the ball off the line but instead booted it into Finn, who directed it into the net for the game winner.
Up Next- The Bearcats will head back out on the road next weekend when they play a pair of contests in the state of Minnesota. Northwest will first take the field against Minnesota-Crookston on Friday, Sept. 11 with the opening kick scheduled for 3 p.m.
