Story Headlines- The Northwest Missouri State volleyball team wrapped up its non-conference schedule on Saturday afternoon with a split in the MIAA/GAC Volleyball Crossover in St. Joseph, Mo.

- As a team, the Bearcats hit .256 in the match, including an impressive .364 mark in the second set.

Darcy Sunderman led Northwest with nine kills and five service aces. The sophomore added two digs and a block assist.

Miranda Foster and
Alexis Williams each knocked down eight kills. Foster also contributed six digs while Williams had one solo block and two block assists.

Jackie Becker totaled six kills on just nine total attacks. Becker added one service ace, one solo block and one block assist.

Shelby Duren tallied five service aces while recording six digs and four kills.
- Although she only appeared in one set,
Aarika Wittenburg led the team with seven digs.
- Northwest held the Reddies to a .025 hitting percentage.
- The 25-9 second set was the first time the Bearcats held a team to single-digit points this season.
Match One Key Sequence- Coming out of a Henderson State timeout early in the second set, the Bearcats found themselves ahead 8-4. After a kill from
Shelby Duren returned serve to Northwest, Duren back-to-back aces to help the Bearcats extend their lead to 13-4. Northwest would win four or more straight points two more times before
Darcy Sunderman ended the set with a service ace of her own.

Miranda Foster recorded 21 kills in the match while adding 10 digs and one block assist on defense.

Sarah Dannettell tallied 64 assists, a new career high for the sophomore. Dannettell added 15 digs and five kills.
