Game One Key Innings- Gotta led off the first with a single and moved to second on a wild pitch. After
Paul Johnson grounded out, Gotta moved to third. Garber doubled to left center to score Gotta making it 2-1 Washburn.
- Greenslade reached on an infield single to start the second. After a pair of outs, Handzlik singled to move Greenslade to third. After Gotta walked to load the bases, Greenslade scored on a passed ball to make it 4-2 Washburn.

Game Two Key Statistics (Washburn 10, Northwest 3)
- The Bearcats scored one run n the second and two runs in the sixth. Northwest had three runs on nine hits with four errors.
- Washburn scored three runs in the sixth, three in the seventh, three in the eighth and one in the ninth. The Ichabods had 10 runs on 13 hits with no errors.
- Garber was 2-for-4 with a run, an RBI and a run scored. He his his team-leading seventh homerun of the season in the second inning.
- Johnson was also 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. He hit his third homerun of the year in the sixth inning.

Garrett Fort hit his first homerun of the season in the sixth, going 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Game Two Key Innings - Garber led off the bottom of the second with a homerun to right center, his seventh blast of the year to put Northwest up, 1-0.
- Fort led off the sixth with his first homerun of the season to right center. After a pitching change, Johnson homered to left field for back-to-back blasts to tie the game, 3-3. The homerun was Johnson's third of the year.

Up Next- The Bearcats and the Ichabods will play a doubleheader tomorrow starting at noon. The opening game will be a seven-inning contest followed by a nine-inning game. Northwest will honor its 2015 senior class between games.
