Story Headlines- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team scored in the bottom of the 10th to beat Peru State on Tuesday afternoon at Bearcat Field in non-conference action.

Carson Smith working the last 2.1 scoreless innings to pick up his third win of the season.
Key Northwest Statistics- Northwest scored eight runs on nine hits but committed three errors. The Bearcats got three in the second, two in the third, two in the seventh and one in the 10th.
- Peru State had seven runs on 18 hits with three errors. The Bobcats scored single runs in the first, second, third and fifth innings before plating three in the eighth.
- Wulff was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a walk.

Key Northwest Innings- Wulff led off the second with a single and moved to second on a Greenslade walk. Hardegree laid down a sacrifice bunt and reached on an error by the third baseman to load the bases. After a strikeout, Fort walked to score Wulff and Gotta singled through the right side, scoring Hardegree and Greenslade.
- In the third, Johnson led off with a single and moved to second on a wild pitch. Garber hit a double down the right field line to score Johnson. Wulff followed that up with a single to score Garber.
- With one out in the seventh, Fort reached on an error by the left fielder and advanced to second. Gotta hit a triple to center to score Fort.
Nick Howard flew out and in a heads up play, Gotta tagged and scored on the sacrifice.
- Wulff led off the 10th with a single and moved to second on a Greenslade sacrifice bunt. Hardegree was walked and both moved up on a passed ball to put runners on second and third with just one out. Handzlik delivered the game winner to deep right, scoring Wulff.
