Stephanie Mark put two runners in scoring position when she doubled down the left field line and they each came in to score on
Chantel Adams' single to center.
- The Bearcats extended their advantage in the third when Lee led off with a double to left center and came in to score two batters later on Mark's sacrifice fly.
- Another big inning in the fourth helped the Bearcats gain a five run cushion. After
Jessica Rawie led off with a walk, consecutive singles from
Kendle Schieber and
Madison Jones loaded the bases for
Baylee Scarbrough. Scarbrough was hit by a pitch to score a run and three batters later
Rebecca Maher plated another run with a single to the shortstop.
- Schieber retired the side in order five times, giving up a single hit in the third and sixth innings.
