Sarah Baldwin got the start for the Bearcats and completed 5.2 innings, giving up just one earned run on seven hits. The junior totaled three strikeouts and walked three Griffon batters.

Paige Blythe came in to record the final four outs for Northwest, earning her third win on the year.
Game One Key Innings- After the Griffons scored one in the top of the first, the Bearcats answered with a two-spot in the bottom of the inning.
Torri Blythe led off by drawing a walk and moved to second after
Cassidy Lee laid down a bunt.
Rebecca Maher drove in Blythe with a single to center.
Chantel Adams added a sacrifice fly bring in Lee.
- The Bearcats added three more runs in the second when
Kendle Schieber led off with a no-doubt home run to left center.
Madison Jones singled and moved to third on Blythe's double down the right field line. Lee and Maher each knocked in a run with infield singles.
- Adams extended the lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the third when she drove a home run to left.
- After the Griffons scored three runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth to tie the game, Jones started a Bearcat rally with a single through the hole at second in the bottom of the sixth. After

Ashley Wilcoxson moved them both into scoring position by laying down a perfect sacrifice bunt. Jones scored the go-ahead run when Lee reached on an error. Both Rawie and Lee came in to score on a wild pitch and subsequent error to give the Bearcats a three-run edge.

Game Two Key Statistics (Northwest 0, Missouri Western 2)
- Junior
Kendle Schieber gave up just four hits in her fifth complete game of the year, but two of those hits were solo home runs. Schieber struck out six Griffons and did not walk a batter.

Game Two Key Innings-
Kendle Schieber retired the side in order four times, giving up hits in the second, fourth and sixth innings.
