Rebecca Maher slapped a single through the hole at second. Two batters later,
Stephanie Mark opened the scoring with a two-run home run to straightaway center.
- After the Cardinals scored one in the bottom of the first, the Bearcats took the run right back in the top of the second when
Ashley Wilcoxson reached on an error by the second baseman. Wilcoxson moved to second on
Madison Jones' sacrifice bunt and headed for third when
Cassidy Lee singled down the left field line. Maher drove her home with an infield single.

Kendle Schieber led off the fourth with a single to left center. Two batters later,
Abigail Gilson put runners on the corners with a single to right. After Schieber scored on a botched pickoff,
Rebecca Maher curled a two-run home run about the right field foul pole.

Stephanie Mark led off the fifth with a deep bomb to left center, making the score 5-4 in favor of the Cardinals.
