Story Headlines- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team earned a mid-week split in a pair of non-conference games on the road on Wednesday.
- Culver-Stockton beat the Bearcats in game one in Canton, Mo., 6-3. The Wildcats moved to 7-21 on the year with the win.
- In the night cap, Northwest traveled to Quincy, Ill., and beat Quincy University, 4-3, in 13 innings.Quincy is now 11-6 on the season.
- The Bearcats are now 13-13 overall.

Game One Key Statistics (Culver-Stockton 6, Northwest 3)
- Northwest scored three runs on seven hits with one error. Culver-Stockton scored six runs on 10 hits with no errors.
- The Bearcats scored two runs in the second and one run in the third. The Wildcats had a six-run third inning.
- Northwest used five pitchers on the day.
John Osborne started, going 2.1 innings, allowing five runs on eight hits with two strikeouts.

Game One Key Innings - Northwest got on the board first with a pair of runs in the top of the second. With one out, Handzlik singled to right center and scored one batter later on a Holler double. Holler would move up to third on a wild pitch. Douglas hit a sacrifice fly to score Holler from third to make it 2-0 Northwest.
- In the third inning,
Paul Johnson was hit by a pitch with two outs and moved to third on a Garber single. With runners on the corners, Garber was caught stealing between first and second but not before Johnson was able to make it home safely to make it 3-0 Northwest.

Game Two Key Statistics (Northwest 4, Quincy 3 - 13 inn)
- Northwest scored one run in the first, two in the second and one in the 13th. The Bearcats had seven hits and committed three errors.
- Quincy got a single run in the fifth and two in the bottom of the eighth. The Hawks collected eight hits on the day and had one error.
- Northwest used six pitchers during the game.
Brad Roberts started the game, going 3.0 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit with two strikeouts.

Game Two Key Innings- The Bearcats got the game started with a run in the top of the first as
Nick Gotta drew a walk to begin the game and came around to score on a double play ball from Johnson. Gotta was aided by a wild pitch that advanced him to second during
Derek Meyer's at bat.
- In the second inning with one out, Greenslade reached on an error by the first baseman and moved to second on a Hardegree single. Both runners moved up on a
Garrett Fort groundout, putting runners on second and third with two out.
Austin Wulff hit an 0-1 offering up the middle for a single, scoring both Greenslade and Hardegree, making it 3-0 Northwest.
- In the top of the 13th inning,
Aaron Barratt drew a one out walk and moved to second on an infield single from Johnson. Garber took an 0-1 pitch down the left field line for a double to drive in Barratt with the go ahead run.
- In the bottom of the 13th, Henrich came on for his second inning of work and put the Hawks down in order for the win.
