Kendle Schieber led off the fifth inning with a home run to left to cut the deficit in half.

Torri Blythe led off with a single up the middle. Blythe moved to second on
Stephanie Mark's single through the hole at short and came in to score when
Chantel Adams sent a single up the left field line.
- Winona State took the lead for good on a home run in the bottom of the sixth.

Abbie Vitosh started in the circle for the Bearcats, giving up four runs on eight hits across four innings to take the loss.

Kendle Schieber pitched the final two innings of the game, giving up two hits and striking out one Wildcat. At the plate, Schieber finished 1-for-3 with a single.

Game Two Key Innings- After falling behind 1-0 in the first, Northwest leveled the score in the top of the second when
Jessica Rawie drew a leadoff walk. Rawie advanced to second on
Madison Jones' sacrifice bunt and came in to score when
Ashley Wilcoxson drove a single to left.
- The Wildcats scored three runs in the fourth to reclaim the lead.
