Game One Key Innings- The Bearcats exploded for five runs in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game at 6-6.

Nick Gotta drew a walk to load the bases.
Nick Howard pinch hit for
Paul Johnson and launched a grand slam to make the score, 6-5.
Kolby Greenslade doubled and moved to third on an error with Garber up to bat. Needing just a sacrifice fly to tie the game, Garber came up with a single to right field, scoring Greenslade.

Game Two Key Statistics- Northwest scored 16 runs on 16 hits and committed just one error. Northwestern Oklahoma committed six errors and had four runs on six hits.

Brad Roberts picked up the win, going 4.0 innings, allowing just three runs. He had eight strikeouts and walked just one batter.
- The Bearcats scored two runs in the second, six runs in the third, three runs in the fifth, three more in the seventh and two in the ninth.
- The Rangers scored the game's first run in the first inning, two runs in the fourth and one in the eighth.

Game Two Key Innings- The Bearcats broke the game open in the third, plating six runs.
Derek Meyer led off with a double and scored two batters later on a
Steven Garber single that was compounded by an error, which allowed Garber to move to second.
Austin Wulff bunted for a single as Garber advanced over to third.
Nick Howard doubled to score Garber and Wulff moved up from first to third. An error on the right fielder allowed
Luke Wilkinson to reach safely, Wulff scored on the play and Howard advanced to third.
Kevin Handzlik had a bunt single and Howard scored on an error by the pitcher. With two outs,
Nick Gotta doubled to score Wilkinson and Handzlik.

Up Next- The Bearcats head to Lawton, Okla, for a four-game series with Cameron University. The series starts on Friday, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m. There will be a double header on Saturday starting at noon and the series concludes Sunday with a single game at 1 p.m.
