Volleyball loses in five sets at Lindenwood

Key Northwest Sequence
- After falling behind 24-20 in the first set, Northwest forced a Lady Lion attack error. On the next point, Jordan Trimble connected with Jackie Becker to make the score 24-22. Consecutive Lindenwood attack errors leveled the score at 24 before Becker and Darcy Sunderman combined to block a Lady Lion attempt, giving the Bearcats a 25-24 advantage. Lindenwood earned a set point after scoring two straight points, but Maddy Bruder threw down a kill on a pass from Sunderman to tie the score, 26-26. A kill from Shelby Duren gave Northwest a second set point, but Lindenwood extended the match on the next point. Bruder gave the Bearcats a 29-27 first set victory two points later on a pass from Megan Stilmock.

- The Bearcats will wrap up the regular season Saturday evening when they travel to Warrensburg, Mo. for a match against Central Missouri. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
