Story Headlines- After capturing the first two sets, the Northwest Missouri State volleyball team lost in five sets against No. 13 Central Missouri Saturday evening, 3-2.
- 314 fans attended the Senior Day contest in Warrensburg, Mo.
- The Bearcats finish the regular season 15-13 overall and 8-10 in the MIAA, while Central Missouri is now 27-4 this season and 15-3 against conference foes.
- Northwest will return to Warrensburg on Tuesday, Nov. 17 for the first round of the MIAA Volleyball Championship.
Key Northwest Statistics-
Shelby Duren led the Bearcats with 18 kills, her most in a game since her freshman season (21 at Southwest Baptist, 11/6/12). The senior added 26 digs, two block assists and an ace.
- Sophomore
Darcy Sunderman contributed a career-high 13 kills on 48 total attacks. Defensively, the outside hitter tallied one solo block, two block assists and nine digs.

Jackie Becker threw down nine kills and added three block assists.

Alexis Williams had a team-best four block assists.

Olivia Nowakowski led the Bearcats with 32 digs. The freshman added four assists.

Jordan Trimble tossed up a team-high 24 assists, while
Megan Stilmock assisted on 22 other kills.

Miranda Foster totaled 21 digs, eight kills and one block assist.
- Northwest hit .122 as a team, including a .250 hitting percentage in the first set.
- The Bearcats held Central Missouri to a .159 hitting percentage, its lowest in a conference game this season.

Miranda Foster knocked down a pass from
Megan Stilmock to hand Northwest its first set point.
Miranda Foster ended the set with another kill on the next point, this time on a pass from
Olivia Nowakowski.
Up Next- The Bearcats have qualified for the 2015 MIAA Volleyball Championship as the seven seed and will travel to play the second-seeded Jennies once again on Tuesday, Nov. 17. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
