Maddy Bruder recorded a match-high 16 kills. She was one of three Bearcats in double-figures in digs, finishing with 12. Bruder also added three blocks defensively.

Key Northwest Sequence- Trailing by seven midewy through the third set, 20-13, Northwest rallied to tie the match after a 8-1 run. Foster started the rally with a kill and was followed up by a pair of Bruder kills to make it 20-16. On the next point, Bruder and
Alexis Williams recorded a block to pull Northwest within three, 20-17, forcing Washburn to use a timeout. After a Washburn point, Bruder picked up another kill and followed it with another block with the assist of Williams, making it 21-19. After a pair of Washburn attacking errors to tie the match, 21-21, the Ichabods were forced to take a second timeout.
