Northwest Game Notes

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Northwest Missouri State men's basketball team will begin the 2014-15 season on Friday evening at Bearcat Arena. The Bearcats are led by sixth year head coach Ben McCollum and are coming off a season in which the team advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 and won a share of the MIAA regular season title.

Northwest will host Minnesots State-Moorhead on Friday evening at 7 p.m. followed by a 5 p.m. game on Saturday against Upper Iowa. Saturday's game was moved from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. to accomodate the Northwest football game against Washburn, which will be played at 1 p.m. Fort Hays State will play Upper Iowa on Friday at 5 p.m. and MSU-Moorhead at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Admission for all weekend basketball games will be free of charge.
