Trevor Evans will serve as a graduate assistant coach and assisting with the defensive backs.
He served as an assistant coach at Eastern University (NCAA Div. III) in St. Davids, Pa., prior to coming to Northwest.
Evans served as an assistant wide receivers coach on the the Tulane football staff in 2025. In his first season on staff, he helped guide the Green Wave to an 11–3 record, an American Athletic Conference Championship, and a College Football Playoff appearance.
Evans played at Tulane from 2021 to 2024 and contributed to one of the most remarkable turnarounds in college football. During his career, the program rose from a 2–10 season to capturing the 2022 American Athletic Conference Championship and a Cotton Bowl victory. He was also part of teams that made two additional conference championship appearances in his junior and senior seasons.
