Biography

Thorne is a 6'1", right side hitter from Cleburne, Texas. She is a two-time first-team all-district player and tallied second-team all-district as a sophomore. She posted the No. 3 hitting percentage (.309) in Class 5A Region 1 District 8. She has collected 845 kills and 138 blocks as a prep player for head coach Timmi Blackshear. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Diann Thorne. Her mother, Diann, is Northwest's all-time leader in kills (1,740), blocks (748) and points (2,340.5). Diann was inducted into the M Club Hall of Fame in 2014.
