PRIOR TO NORTHWEST
Mascari, a 6-5 shooting guard, completed a senior season with Geneva High School. The Vikings made it to the quarterfinals of the 4A Illinois Basketball Tournament and finished the season 32-2, a school record for wins. Mascari finished the season averaging 14 points per game while shooting 44% from three-point range and 52% from the field.
"Mitch is coming from a winning program where he has been coached at a high level for four years," McCollum said. "His ability to space the floor is something we really value in our program. His elite shooting sets up his ability to attack off the bounce and make plays for himself and others."
