MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... saw action in all 34 games ...  made 22 starts ... averaged 6.5 points per game ... shot 49.4% from the floor ... buried 19 three-pointers ... tallied 82 rebounds (2.4/game) ... dished out 35 assists ... scored a season-high 19 points vs. Northern State (11/11) ... had 10 double-figure scoring games.

2021-22
MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... played in 35 games ... made 10 starts ... averaged 6.2 points per game ... scored a career-high 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting at Lincoln (12/11) ... also grabbed a career-best eight rebounds at Lincoln ... scored in double figures eight times ... shot 50.6% from the field ... played 19 minutes and grabbed five boards in the national title win over Augusta (3/26).

2020-21
MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... saw action in 25 games ... averaged 3.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game ... shot 56.0% from the field, 75.0% from the foul line and 40.0% from the three-point arc ... scored a season-high 11 points and tallied a season-high five rebounds vs. Nebraska-Kearney (2/25) ... played a season-high 24 minutes at Missouri Southern (2/2) when he scored seven points and grabbed three rebounds.

PRIOR TO NORTHWEST
Abreu, a 6'6" small forward, joined the Bearcats after completing his senior season with Jeremy Dresslaer and the Willard Tigers. Abreu led Willard High School to 17-10 record and a berth into the district final as a junior while averaging 27.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists on 55% shooting from the field and 45% shooting from three-point range. Abreu was tabbed as the Central Ozark Conference Player of the Year while also being selected to the MBCA Class 5 All-State Team.
 
"Daniel's ability to shoot, drive and post up make him very tough to guard," McCollum said. "On top of his versatility, what stuck out the most to us about Daniel during the recruiting process was his relentless motor on the court and high-energy personality off the court."
