MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... saw action in 18 matches ... made one start ... on the field for 469 minutes ... took eight shots and all eight were on-goal ... earned an assist in Northwest's 4-2 win over Wayne State (Sept. 5) ... scored a goal and had an assist in a 4-1 victory over Missouri Southern (Sept. 24).

Linsi Mashburn is a 5'2", forward from Lee's Summit, Missouri (Lee's Summit HS).

She was named the conference player of the year as a senior. Mashburn tallied 17 goals and 14 assists in earning second-team all-state status as a senior. She tallied first-team all-conference and all-district honors. She also earned academic all-state accolades.

She has played varsity all four years of high school for head coach Dave Wiebenga. She played club for KCSG ECNL 02/03 for coaches Timo Kibune and Mike Brown.
 
"Linsi is a very dynamic player on the ball and has very good vision in distributing passes," Gordon said. "Linsi is a bit unconventional around the goal and creates a lot of scoring opportunities for her team. Linsi will have roles as a forward and attacking midfielder."
