MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... played in 27 games as a freshman, while starting in 12 ... averaged 5.3 points a game while pulling down 58 total rebounds ... piled up 19 points at Nebraska-Kearney on Jan. 26, 2023.Â
Ella Moody is a 5'11", guard from St Joseph, Mo. She will graduate from Central High School this spring and has accumulated a 3.9 GPA. She is a National Honor Society member, was Academic All State in Volleyball and a DECA State Qualifier.

Last season, Moody helped lead her team to their first conference title in 10 years. Along the way, she reached the 1,000-point mark for her career and helped Central to a narrow district semifinal loss to Class 6 fourth-place finisher Staley.

Moody was a part of the Class 6 all-state team, the first in Missouri's history. She was selected the Suburban Conference Player of the Year and was an all-district selection, finishing among the Kansas City metro leaders at 19.2 points per game, averaging 6.4 rebounds.

She is the daughter of Janet and Scott Moody. Her mom, Janet, is a member of the M Club Hall of Fame and the MIAA Hall of Fame after a standout career as a Bearcat women's basketball performer ... Janet is the program's all-time leading scorer with 2,121 points.
