Obasohan is a junior transfer from the University of Hawaii. Obasohan saw action 10 games a reserve for Hawaii in 2024-25. He earned a spot on the Big West Conference’s Commissioner’s Honor Roll. He played the 2023-24 season as an amateur for Espoirs Le Mans in the LNB Espoirs – a French under-21 league. He averaged 14.5 points, 3.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds in France. He was a 4.0 student at Brandon Hall School in Atlanta, Ga., to complete his prep career. He played for Elite Academy Antwerp for five years prior to moving to the United States. He trained with both the Belgian U20 and senior national teams. He is the son of Victor and Susan Obasohan. His older brother, Retin, was an all-conference player at Alabama and competed for the Sacramento Kings NBA Summer League team before landing a pro career in Europe.
