Biography

Abdul-Hamid is a junior college transfer from Hutchinson Community College. Abdul-Hamid averaged 7.4 points per game and shot 40.3% from three-point land last season. He has had college stops at the University of Idaho and Salt Lake City CC before last year at Hutchinson. He is a native of St. Louis, Mo., and graduated from Christian Brothers High School, where helped his team capture the 2022 Missouri Class 6A state championship. He played for head coach Justin Tatum, father of Boston Celtic Jason Tatum. He is the son of Marsha Cannon and Stephen Abdul-Hamid. His father played college basketball at Wichita State and New Mexico State. His brother, Mustafa, played at UCLA from 2006-2010.
