Played in 14 games ... recorded a career best of 17 tackles ... had seven solo tackles

2008

Redshirt season ... named scout-team defense MVP

Kearney High School

Was an all-state linebacker for the Bulldogs as a senior season when he finished with 96 tackles and helped lead Kearney to a 10-2 record and a state playoff berth ... was a two-year starter at linebacker ... Bobby Bell nominee (best small-class LB/DE in the metro area) ... KMZU Dream Team pick ... also earned all-conference honors in basketball and baseball
