Named to the Top 11 team by the Kansas Football Coaches Association as a senior, while he was the Kansas 4A Defensive Player of the Year by Sports in Kansas... A first team all-state honoree as a senior by Sports in Kansas and the Wichita Eagle after carding 62 tackles and 8.0 tackles for loss... Also earned first team all-state honors as a junior from both publications... Named the league’s defensive player of the year as a senior and the defensive lineman of the year as both a junior and senior... Also competed in rugby and lacrosse.
