An All-State athlete led Prairie City-Monroe to the Iowa state quarterfinals and an 11-1 record … Was named first-team all-district as a three-year letter winner … Was an all-conference basketball and baseball player for the Mustangs helping lead the basketball team to a third place finish at the state championships … A 400-meter hurdles state champion as a junior and a three-year state qualifier for the Prairie City-Monroe track and field team … Played for former Bearcat linebacker, Greg Bonnett, who played at Northwest in the late 1990’s
