Team captain for the Spoofhounds, who went 13-2 and was the runner-up in the 2008 Class 2A State Title game ... it was the school's first trip to the championship game since 1996 ... the team didn't allow a point in the third quarter of any game ... earned first-team all-conference (unan.) and all-district honors and was a second-team all-state pick ... also competed in track and field and was a 1,600-meter relay state qualifier
