Named All-Nebraska Super State Quarterback after passing for 1,896 yards and 18 touchdowns in his senior year ... also rushed for 713 yards and 10 scores ... set five school records in 2007 including total offense in a season (2,609 yards), passing yards in a season, total offense in a game (386), passing yards in a game (343) and best career passing percentage (57.3 percent) ... was an all-district safety in his junior season ... helped lead Millard West to a 10-2 record and a trip to the state semifinals as a senior ... also competed in baseball and was a three-year letterman ... hit .407 in his senior year of 2008 to earn second-team all-state honors ... started at second base in 2007 and at catcher in 2008
