2020: Competed in three games before opting out of the spring 2020 season ... tallied two tackles vs. South Dakota State and one stop against Missouri State ... returned four kickoffs for 75 yards.

2019: Credited with one tackle against Western Illinois.

2018: Played in 12 games with 2 starts for the Panthers...recorded 21 tackles and had 1 interception at defensive back.

2017: Played in 10 games for the Panthers, starting once at safety... earned 14 tackles on the season... opened the season with a start against Iowa State  (9/2), collecting a career-high five tackles... earned four tackles against Cal Poly (9/9)... earned four tackles against Indiana State (11/18), with a career-high three solos. 

2016: Redshirted. 

High School: Lettered in football at Cedar Rapids Washington High School for Paul James … named a team captain … led his team to three district championships, one conference championship and a state runner-up finish in 2014 … earned second-team INA all-state as a senior … was first-team all-district as a wide receiver and named to the first-team all-area as a defensive back in 2015 … has 45 receptions as a senior, finishing with 870 yards and 12 receiving touchdowns along with three interceptions … selected to all-conference and all-metro second-team as a defensive back in 2013 … also named first-team all-district in 2013 … also lettered in track and field, earning a conference title in the 400 hurdles.

Personal: Son of Laurence and Eara Nimmers … has one sibling, Noah … majoring in exercise science.
