Mark Wright will serve as the wide receivers coach on the Bearcat football staff.

A native of New Orleans, La., Wright was a collegiate quarterback at Langston University in Langston, Okla.

"This will be the third time I have the privilege of working alongside Coach Wright on a coaching staff," McMenamin said. "His ability to connect with our players and positively impact their lives, both on and off the field, is what sets him apart as one of the top coaches in the game. With his relentless work ethic and tireless recruiting efforts, Coach Wright is sure to make a significant impact on the Bearcat football program. I couldn't be more excited to welcome him as our new running backs coach."

Wright previously coached at Tulane University and Wayne State College with current Bearcat head coach John McMenamin. At Tulane, Wright coached a pair of NFL players in Duece Watts and Jaquan Jackson.

Wright also served as an assistant coach at Wayne State College and MidAmerica Nazarene.
