Second-team all-state performer for the conference champion Bulldogs ... caught 28 passes for 817 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior (29.2 ypr) ... had 15 catches for 285 yards and four TDs as a junior ... also had 54 tackles and an interception in 2007 ... also competed in basketball, baseball and track and field ... inducted into the Ottumwa High School Track Hall of Fame for his 1600-meter relay and 400-meter performances
