Second team All-America ... Iron Bearcat Award recipient ... named Most Valuable Defensive Player of the Year ... recorded 131 tackles for the second-highest tally in the nation and the eighth-highest, single season tally in program history ... leading tackler in eight of 14 games ... had a season-high 15 stops in hte quarterfinal win against Central Missouri ... posted double-digit tackles six times ... recorded 6.5 tackles-for-loss ... had three sacks ... completed two interceptions one of which he returned for a touchdown 

2009

First-team All-MIAA ... first-team all-region as selected by CoSIDA (Daktronics) ... Played in all 15 games and started the final 13 at linebacker ... earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading Northwest with 10 tackles in a win vs. Central Missouri (11/7) ... had a season-high 17 tackles the week before at Fort Hays State (10/31) ... led the team with 96 tackles and was the team's top tackler in four contests ... also had three tackles-for-loss, 1.5 sacks and two interceptions ... the first interception came at Emporia State (10/17) ... the second was returned 25 yards for a touchdown in a national quarterfinal win against top-ranked Central Washington (11/28) ... also recorded four quarterback hurries and had five pass break-ups during the season

2008

Only true freshman to play with the Bearcats in 2008 ... played in final 14 games of the season ... tied for ninth on the team with 42 tackles including 25 solo stops ... forced two fumbles, had two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries ... had a season-best seven tackles vs. Fort Hays State (10/18) ... Kermie Schneider Award Winner (Northwest Redshirt Freshman of the Year)

First-team all-state linebacker ... first-team all-district and all-conference linebacker and running back ... team captain ... also earned all-state, all-district and all-conference honors as a linebacker in 2006 ... also an all-state performer in baseball
