Mike Creason

Following a two-year playing career as a Bearcat, Creason joined the baseball coaching staff in 2003.

As the top assistant for the Bearcats, he coordinates recruiting, serves as infield and hitting coach as well as the third base coach. During his time at Northwest, teams have broken records for hits; RBIs and runs scored for a single season along with multiple seasons over 50 home runs and a fielding percentage over .950.

The Moreno Valley, Calif., native began his playing career for Victor Valley CC in Victor Valley, Calif., where he was a two-year starter at shortstop, second base and third base. Creason was also a top relief pitcher, breaking a record for game appearances during his sophomore season while earning all-conference honors.

In his two-year career at Northwest Missouri, Creason played in 98 games, starting 92 times. He collected more than 10 doubles each year with 45 RBI and 50 runs scored. As a middle infielder, he had fewer than 10 errors in his Bearcat career.

Creason earned his Bachelor of Science in Corporate Recreation from Northwest. He also received his Master of Science in Recreation Administration from Northwest. Creason resides in Maryville with his three children; Canon, Creed and Chase.
