Bearcats Bleed Green Fund
Gifts can be made to support any sport, multiple sports, or areas such as strength and conditioning, athletic training, or general athletics. These gifts are held in the Foundation, and are able to be used by the coach to enhance their program. These generous, unrestricted donations are the lifeblood of the athletic department, allowing the coaches and athletes to compete to be the premier NCAA DII school in America.Â
The Bearcats Bleed Green Fund offers a few benefits that you are able to receive as part of your gift supporting Bearcat Athletics. You may opt out of receiving the benefits, or if you receive them, their value will be deducted from your charitable gift tax receipt. Gift levels are based on total donations to athletics, so the cumulative amount, regardless of sport or area within athletics, and it can be a one-time gift or from a monthly recurring donation.Â
Gifts to one or more of the athletic programs will go towards the stewardship recognition level listed below. Donations will be cumulative, so giving multiple times or to different areas can move a benefactor up the recognition levels. Gifts can also be set up as a monthly gift, dividing the desired total gift into smaller, more manageable monthly gifts. Gifts can be made to the Foundation, during one of the Northwest giving days, such as Bleed Green – Athletic Day of Giving, or set up on a recurring monthly basis. Payments for events such as golf outings or corporate sponsorships do not qualify for BBGF credit. The Bearcats Bleed Green Fund offers a few benefits that you are able to receive as part of your gift supporting Bearcat Athletics. You may opt out of receiving the benefits, or if you receive them, their value will be deducted from your charitable gift tax receipt. As a donor moves up the recognition levels, they receive the previous levels benefits as well. Donors have the option to opt-out of receiving tangible benefits to make the entire gift tax-deductible.Â

Corporate Sponsorships
Our
corporate sponsorship program allows many businesses in Maryville and the Northwest area to support Bearcat Athletics, while getting exposure to all of Bearcat Nation. These businesses provide crucial funding that supports the athletic department, making sure it consistently operates at an elite level.
Directly Support Bearcat Student-Athletes
Supporters are now able to directly support a student-athlete through a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deal. Bearcat athletics has a couple of different options for people to do so: purchasing personalized merchandise (
Influxer) or working a deal out with an athlete through the marketplace (
Opendorse), or providing funds to help support student-athletes through the Culture Wins Collective. Supporting an athlete in this manner is done between the supporter, a third party, and the athlete, as rules do not allow athletic personnel to directly facilitate such a deal.
Major Gifts
Transformational gifts are what will put the Bearcats on a path for success that will last for generations to come. A major gift to a facility project, an endowment, or to fund scholarships will cement a donor's legacy with Northwest, while providing the long-term funding and improvements that will guarantee that the Bearcats stay on top of the MIAA and the nation.
