Second-Team All-MIAA selection ... completed the 2021 season having started the final 41 straight games of his Bearcat career on the offensive line ... part of the Bearcat offense in 2021 that ranked No. 13 in the nation in total offense (457.5 yards per game) ... cleared running paths for Harlon Hill Trophy finalist running back Al McKeller so he could lead the MIAA in rushing (1,601 yards) ... helped keep pass rushers away from quarterback Mike Hohensee, who ranked No. 1 in the nation in passing completion percentage (73.6%) and No. 1 in the nation in passing efficiency (187.3 rating) ... Bearcat offense produced six games of 500 yards or more offense which was the most for Northwest since the 2013 season.

Honorable Mention All-MIAA ... started all 14 games at left guard ... the Bearcat offense led the nation in red-zone scoring (97.6%) ... Northwest ranked No. 9 in the nation in scoring offense (41.9 ppg) ... the Bearcats rushed for 38 touchdowns and passed for 29 scores ... helped clear the way to allow running back Justin Rankin rush for 1,050 yards.

Started all 13 games at left tackle ... Northwest featured the No. 1 scoring offense in the MIAA at 36.6 points per game ... Northwest rushed for 33 touchdowns and averaged 205.8 yards per game on the ground ... the Bearcats passed for 26 touchdowns and averaged 216.2 yards per game through the air.

Gabriel Bautz lettered in football all four years at Catholic Memorial High School ... team won state title freshman year and was runner-up in 2015 ... named second team all-conference in 2015 and honorable mention in 2014 ... played for coach Bill Young ... voted team captain as a senior ... lettered four times in wrestling, going 21-0 as a junior, 285 lb State Champion as a senior ... son of Brian and Linda Bautz.
