Cliff Harris Award Winner which honors the nation's small college defensive player of the year ... D2CCA Super Region 3 and MIAA defensive player of the year.  captured first-team All-America honors from the D2CCA and AFCA ... second-team AP All-America performer ... first-team All-MIAA ... led a dominant Bearcat defense and recorded 18 tackles-for-loss and 6.5 sacks in 13 games this season ... his 18 tackles-for-loss tied for the eighth-best single-season mark in Bearcat history ... had at least a half-tackle for loss in 12 different games ... helped guide Northwest Missouri State to a No. 2 national ranking in scoring defense (12.1 points allowed per game) and No. 4 in the country in total defense (223.6 yards allowed per game).

2019
Second-Team All-MIAA ... MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... started 12 games on the defensive line ... missed two games with an injury ... posted 49 total tackles (30 solo stops) ... notched 10.0 TFLs ... credited with 5.0 quarterback sacks ... tied for sixth in the nation with three blocked kicks ... credited with a season-high nine tackles at Nebraska-Kearney (10/19) ... posted three TFLs and 1.5 sacks in a 45-23 victory over Central Missouri (11/16).

2018
First-Team All-MIAA ... honorable mention all-America pick by Don Hansen's Football Gazette ... MIAA Academic Honor Roll ... saw action in all 13 games ... made 10 starts on the defensive line ... tallied 50 tackles (25 solo) ... posted six quarterback sacks ... notched 13.0 tackles for loss ... secured seven tackles in a 41-0 win over Emporia State (9/29) ... credited with seven tackles in the NCAA playoff game at Ferris State (11/24).

2017
All-MIAA Honorable Mention ... appeared in all 12 games ... had 24 tackles with six tackles for loss and a sack ... had one interception and a blocked kick ... had four tackles and blocked a kick against Emporia State (8/31) ... had six tackles with a sack against Central Missouri (9/30) ... had an interception and two tackles at Northeastern State (10/14).

Samuel Roberts was a two-time all-state performer at Waynesville High School ... earned first team All-SWMO honors as a senior on the defensive line ... named first team all-conference honors twice on the defensive line and named to the second team on the offensive line as a senior ... earned first team all-district honors as a junior ... played for coach Brad Drehle ... son of Samuel and Tanya Roberts.
