The annual Bleed Green Athletic Day of Giving to support Northwest Missouri State University Athletics is set for October 1.

This giving day event is the biggest opportunity for alumni, fans, families and others to support Bearcat sport programs and athletes, transforming the student-athlete experience.

The platform will go live Oct. 1 at 6 a.m. and will run through 10 p.m. – 16 teams, 16 hours to give! There are opportunities to support one or more of your favorite Bearcat athletic programs - teams, athletic training, strength and conditioning, as well as Bearcat Radio Network, the new Bearcat Athletic Scholarship Fund and the athletic department. After the great turnout last fall, this year the department is looking to raise more than $400,000 between all the programs.
 
Northwest is ready to take the next step, ensuring that Bearcat Athletics is supported in a way that our contributors feel connected and part of the programs they give to. We are excited about some of the initiatives and donors who have already stepped up to provide some challenges and resources that will make this Day of Giving a fun event for all involved, having a substantial impact this year and beyond. We hope you'll consider being a part of this time in our department's history as we set ourselves up to be a significant player in the world of NCAA Division II athletics for years to come.
