PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Northwest Missouri State track and field teams concluded the regular season Saturday at the PSU "The Almost Last Chance" Invitational.
 
The Bearcats' will continue in the postseason as the squad travels to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in Emporia, Kan., hosted by Emporia State University, from May 21-23.
 
PSU "The Almost Last Chance" Invitational Events
(W) 100m Dash: Sophomore Krysta Abel captured the event crown with a Div. II provisional time of 11.62. Junior Jaurdin Mallory followed Abel with a runner-up finish with a time of 11.74.
 
(M) 400m Dash: Senior Logan Arellano crossed the finish line with a time of 48.02 and earned seventh place. 
 
(M) 110m Hurdles: Sophomore Frank Sparks secured fourth with a provisional time of 14.28. 
 
(M) 400m Hurdles: Sophomore Aiden O'Leary claimed a new Div. II provisional time of 51.89 and earned a second-place finish. O'Leary's time ranks as the second-fastest time in the Northwest record books.
