Michael Good gained a spot on the 2026 MIAA Baseball All-Tournament Team.
Good (Parkville, Mo.) batted .500 with five hits, including two home runs in a pair of MIAA Tournament games for the Bearcats. Good scored four runs and drove in five runs in Edmond, Okla.Â
Good ripped a solo home run to right center off UCM's Sawyer Allen, the MIAA Pitcher of the Year, in the second inning of Northwest's 8-7 extra-inning victory over the Mules. Good went 3-for-6 with two runs scored vs. the Mules.
Good went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI against top-seeded Pittsburg State in the MIAA semifinal matchup. Good launched a three-run homer to left in the third inning vs. PSU's Zach Voss. Good's long ball pulled Northwest to within 8-6 of the Gorillas. Later in the fifth, Good delivered an RBI single through the left side to score
Wilmer Jimenez for his fourth RBI of the contest.
On the season, Good is batting .315 with six home runs and 28 RBI. He has a .523 slugging percentage and has stolen five bases. Good has seen action in 40 games and made 29 starts. He started at second base in both games of the MIAA Tournament.
