The Northwest Missouri State outdoor track and field teams will send 19 athletes to the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, taking place May 21-23 at the Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kan.
The Bearcats will be represented by nine men's team members and nine from the women's squad. Additionally, one more athlete will join them at the national meet.

Ahead of the national championship, both the men's and women's squads improved their national standings at the 2026 MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, with the men climbing to No. 6 nationally and the women coming in at No. 10 in the country.

The men and women hold steady with their Central Region rankings, with the men at No. 3 and the women at No. 7. At the 2026 MIAA Outdoor Championships, both the Bearcat men (116 points) and women (123 points) claimed third-place team finishes.
