The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced its annual region award winners and the Bearcat men's tennis team claimed a pair of honors.
Sophomore Pavlo Vyostin (Novooleksandrivka, Ukraine) was honored as the ITA Central Region's Player to Watch. Vysotin helped lead the Bearcats to an NCAA Tournament appearance and a 12-10 overall record. Vysotin posted a singles' record of 17-5 overall, including a 16-4 mark in dual play. He went 15-4 at No. 2 singles in the spring. Vysotin added nine doubles' victories, including a 9-7 mark at No. 3 doubles in dual matches.
Mason Meier was named the ITA Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year. Meier is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Bearcats. Meier and the Bearcat men's team earned the program's 24th NCAA Tournament appearance in the 2025-26 season.
