The Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team is ranked No. 4 in this week's NCAA Division II Central Region rankings.
There are eight teams in the NCAA Central Region women's tennis rankings. Northwest is 15-4 against Div. II opponents and 14-3 in regional matchups. The Central Region will have an allocation of six teams (three conference champions and three at-large bids) in the 48-team NCAA Tournament field and two teams will advance from the Central Region to the finals site (Surprise, Ariz. - May 19-24). Northwest is looking for its 23rd all-time NCAA Tournament bid.
