The Northwest Missouri State University men's tennis team is ranked No. 5 in the latest NCAA Division II Central Region rankings.
There are six teams in the NCAA Central Region rankings. Northwest's NCAA Div. II record is 10-6 and the Bearcats are 9-5 in the region. The Central Region will have an allocation of five teams (conference champion and four at-large bids) in the 48-team NCAA Tournament field and two teams will advance from the Central Region to the finals site (Surprise, Ariz. - May 19-24). It would be the 24th all-time NCAA Tournament appearance for the men's program.
