WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Northwest Missouri State University women's golf team took home a sixth-place team finish with a pair of top-10 individual placings at the 2026 MIAA Championships held at Mules National Golf Club.

Northwest shot a final-round team score of 308, its best round of the 54-hole event. The Bearcats placed sixth overall.
Lauren Briggs placed fifth and
Lexi Bartley tied for sixth in the tournament.

Briggs secured a spot on the MIAA All-Tournament team with a top-five finish with a 54-hole total of 226 (+16). Briggs carded her lone birdie of the final round at No. 7.

Bartley buried a trio of birdies including one on the par-3 18th hole en route to a final round 75 and a top-10 finish. Bartley also captured birdies at No. 6 and No. 8. Bartley closed out the championship with a final-round 75 (+3). She shot a three-round total of 227 (+17).

The Bearcats will look to earn a spot in the NCAA Central Region meet set for May 4-6 at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo. The top 18 teams in the Central Region will earn a spot in the meet.
