TOPEKA, Kan. - The No. 18-ranked Washburn Ichabods snuck past the No. 42-ranked Northwest Missouri State University women's tennis team in MIAA dual action Saturday.
The Ichabods moved to 15-3 overall and 6-1 in MIAA play. Northwest slipped to 14-4 overall and 5-2 in league dual action.
Washburn won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead.

Majra Djokic over Washburn's No. 56-ranked Riko Konno (6-1, 2-6, 6-4), No. 3 Chiharui Ito over Washburn's Daniela Tijaro (6-2, 2-6, 6-4) and No. 4
Laura Prieto Sieiro over Washburn's Saajida Razick (7-5, 6-3).
Northwest will take on Emporia State Sunday in Emporia, Kan.
