The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced its Academic Awards for the 2025-26 men's and women's indoor track and field season. Four hundred and sixty-eight student-athletes from all 21 MIAA indoor track and field programs were named to the Association's Academic Honor Roll while 51 athletes earned the league's Academic Excellence award and 44 were named Scholar-Athletes. 

The Northwest Missouri State University indoor track & field teams had 50 individuals (27 men, 23 women) earn MIAA academic recognition for their work in the classroom on the competition platform.

The prestigious MIAA Academic Excellence Award was achieved by 51 student-athletes (31 women, 20 men) in indoor track and field including six from Northwest Missouri State. The Bearcats had Jadyn Barnes, Austin Goetsche, Grace Hill, John Langill, Taylor McCreedy and Bentley St. John earn perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point averages. An MIAA Academic Excellence Award recipient must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of at least 4.00 at the certifying member institution. The honoree also must have at least two terms of grades reported at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. 

The Scholar-Athlete distinction went to 44 student-athletes (26 women, 18 men). Northwest's Scholar-Athlete recipients were Jadyn Barnes, Anjelena Carder, Marie Dea, Barnabe Gabillet, Mason Hartley, Christian Lanphier, Taylor McCreedy, Dominic Sedlacek, Grayson Tapp and Riley Witt. A Scholar-Athlete is an individual that has a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.50 or better at the certifying member institution. They must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. The student-athlete must also earn All-MIAA honors for the current season. 

In the Academic Honor Roll category, 468 student-athletes (237 women, 231 men) were mentioned. To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 or above at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
