The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association announced Northwest Missouri State University's Majra Djokic as the MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, presented by ClassicCourt – the official tennis surface of the MIAA.
 
Djokic (Arandelovac, Serbia) went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles as Northwest scored dual wins at McKendree and at UMSL.
 
Djokic knocked off McKendree's Krsitina Bogomazova, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 2 singles. She paired up with Polina Gontaryk for a 6-1 win over McKendree's No. 3 doubles team of Ivana Milkova and Emmy Zsigmond.
 
Djokic scored a 6-2, 6-3 win over UMSL's Millie Wileman at No. 2 singles. She and Polina Gontaryk recorded a 6-2 victory over UMSL's Anna Favaron and Lauren Sweeney.
Djokic is 9-1 at No. 2 singles this spring. Djokic is 8-1 in doubles this spring.
