Northwest Missouri State University distance runner Kiki Witt captured the MIAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week honor.

Witt (Charles City, Iowa / Charles City HS / UNI / Iowa State) captured first-place honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Spire Distance Carnival. It ranks as the nation's second-best outdoor time (10:48.15) this season.

Witt's time ranks as the fourth-best mark in school history. 

It marks the seventh time this season a Bearcat track & field athlete has gained the Association's top weekly award.
