Northwest Missouri State University senior first baseman Jeremiah Cabuyaban was chosen as this week's MIAA Baseball Hitter of the Week.

Cabuyaban (Kansas City, Mo./Liberty North HS/Arkansas State) batted .500 with four home runs, 12 RBI and eight runs scored in four MIAA contests. He homered in all four games.

Cabuyaban went 1-for-4 with a homer at No. 8-ranked Central Missouri.

In game one at Washburn, Cabuyaban went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI. In game two, Cabuyaban went 3-for-3 with a home run and a double and four runs scored. In game three, Cabuyaban knocked in six runs as he went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double.

The Bearcats (19-8 overall, 9-4 MIAA) will play host to Missouri Western Wednesday at 3 p.m. and will take on Pittsburg State at home in a three-game set beginning Friday at 3 p.m.
